Office Manager
Erin Sparks, RVT, CCFP, CVBL
Erin initially started with GVC in 2015 as a technician and, shortly after starting with us, became our office manager. Originally from Oklahoma, she graduated from the OSU-OKC Veterinary Technology Program in 1999 and then continued her education at the University of Oklahoma (Go Sooners!), receiving a BA in Classics (Latin) and a minor in Math. She became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2007 and is always working towards continuing to expand her leadership knowledge.
Erin often works behind the scenes but can sometimes still be found helping in reception and treatment. She is passionate about creating spaces where people feel empowered to be themselves and confident in their strengths. She believes that when individuals are encouraged to find their voice and supported in their growth, they naturally find their place. Her hope is to foster a culture at Gregory Veterinary Clinic where team members feel valued, heard, and connected—allowing our clinic to truly feel like a family.
In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, watching Oklahoma football, and spending time with her son, great friends and two little yorkies, Bandit and Zen.

Lead Inpatient Technician
Melissa Campos
A native of Florida, Melissa has been in the veterinary field for 15 years. She has a passion for providing quality veterinary care to her community. Her special interests include surgery, dentistry, and overall preventive care.
Melissa is one of our lead technicians and enjoys keeping the hospital organized. She has always loved animals and has two bull terriers at home. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her twin daughters and her husband.

Lead Surgery Technician
Heather Ousley, CVT
Heather has been a veterinary technician since 2006 and became certified in 2012. She has also been a member of our team since July 2020. Born and raised in the Tampa area, Heather has worked in multiple fields of veterinary medicine with a variety of species. Her experiences include shelter medicine, aquatic animals, and emergency medicine, as well as many years in general practice.
Heather's favorite part of her job is working with clients and helping them keep their pets as healthy as possible. She also enjoys the more technical parts of her job and is our lead surgery technician. Heather is currently working on her BA in veterinary technology and has a goal of earning her VTS. On the weekends, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her daughters and her dogs.

Savannah Herring, CPEP. FFCP
Savannah is a graduate of the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo and the University of West Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a Minor in Business. She brings both academic excellence and hands-on experience to the team, with a strong foundation in animal care and welfare.
Savannah is a Fear Free Certified Professional Elite (FFCP), Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Professional (CPEP), and Human-Animal Bond Certified (HABC). These credentials reflect her deep commitment to compassionate, low-stress handling and her dedication to strengthening the bond between people and animals.
Outside of work, Savannah enjoys traveling with her husband, reading, and crafting. She shares her home with two beloved pup-cup obsessed pitties, Jade and Lexi, and a cuddly cat named Conrad.

Heather Jonatzke
Heather joined the Gregory Vet Clinic family in the summer of 2023, bringing with her five years of valuable experience in the veterinary field. As a veterinary technician, she has quickly become an integral part of our team, known for her dedication to patient care and her natural ability to connect with clients. Heather's passion for animals extends beyond her professional life, having cared for a variety of exotic pets over the years, including chinchillas and a distinctive uromastyx.
Outside of the clinic, Heather's interests are as unique as her choice in pets. She has a keen eye for astrophotography, capturing the beauty of the night sky through her lens, a hobby that reflects her appreciation for the wonders beyond our world. Her love for exploration and the great outdoors is shared with her loyal Boxer, Cali, who is her constant companion on adventures and quiet nights at home alike.
Heather's combination of professional expertise and personal enthusiasm for all living creatures makes her a beloved member of our team. Her journey in veterinary medicine and her varied hobbies enrich the Gregory Vet Clinic, contributing to our diverse and compassionate community.

Bridget Frank
Bridget's journey in the veterinary field began in 2001, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to our practice since November 2020. Her academic prowess is highlighted by a B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Tampa, laying a strong foundation for her compassionate care and expertise in veterinary medicine.
What truly sets Bridget apart is her love for the family-oriented atmosphere and the close bonds she shares with our tight-knit staff. This sense of community fuels her daily commitment to the animals and people we serve.
Away from the clinic, Bridget's life is rich with the joys of family and hobbies. She treasures moments spent with her husband and daughter, creating memories that last a lifetime. Her home is filled with the warmth of her cats, Fili and Kili, whose antics bring endless smiles.
Bridget's passion for photography allows her to capture the beauty of the world around her, from the smallest pet expressions to the grandeur of nature. Her artistic eye and love for life enrich not only her personal moments but also add a unique perspective to her professional role.

Carrie Levinson
Carrie Levinson, affectionately known as “Care Bear,” is Gregory Veterinary Clinic’s Inventory Manager and will be celebrating 10 years with the clinic this September. Her love for animals began through time spent around family pets and farm animals, which helped lead her into veterinary medicine.
Carrie enjoys the variety her role brings, from interacting with clients and pets to keeping inventory, pharmacy items, numbers, and stock organized behind the scenes. She hopes every client is greeted with a smiling face and that every pet feels loved and cared for.
Outside of work, Carrie enjoys music concerts, Disney, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Carrie shares her home with Pogue, her Frenchie, and two cats: Jughead and Rocket, her Siamese.” A proud Aquarius, Carrie loves the little things in life and brings that same warmth and positivity to the clinic each day.

Brianna Cortese, CVT
When Brianna Cortese first stepped into Gregory Vet Clinic (GVC), she was on a mission to fulfill her practical hours for the Veterinary Technology Program at Hillsborough Community College (HCC). But it wasn't long before her undeniable talent and dedication caught our eye, transforming what started as a requirement into a blossoming career. Today, Brianna is not just a student; she's a valued member of the GVC family, bringing her fresh perspective, eagerness to learn, and passion for animal care to our team every day.
With her graduation on the horizon in May 2024, Brianna is gearing up to take the veterinary world by storm. She's already setting her sights on the National Board Exam, determined to earn her stripes as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). Brianna's journey from intern to soon-to-be CVT is a story of ambition, dedication, and the heartfelt commitment to animal welfare that defines our clinic.

Abigail "Abi" McDonald
Abigail McDonald, or Abi, is a Veterinary Technician at Gregory Veterinary Clinic. She has been working in veterinary medicine for 5 years and has been with Gregory Vet for 2 years.
Growing up around farm animals and loving dogs inspired Abi’s passion for helping animals get better. She enjoys making a difference in pets’ health and has a special interest in internal medicine. Abi hopes clients feel happy, informed, and satisfied with their pet’s care.
Outside of work, Abi enjoys working with cows, barrel racing, and going to concerts. She shares her life with Klaus, her Australian Shepherd, and Scooter, her semi-Angus cow. She is also a big Muppets fan!

Veterinary Technician
Anaiss Santiago
Anaiss Santiago Diaz is a Veterinary Technician at Gregory Veterinary Clinic. She has been working in veterinary medicine for 6 years and joined the Gregory Vet team 4 months ago.
Anaiss has loved animals since she was a little girl, which inspired her to become a Veterinary Technician. Her favorite part of the job is helping treat pets and seeing them feel better. She has a special interest in breeding and reproduction and hopes clients feel that their expectations are met when it comes to the care of their pets.
Outside of work, Anaiss enjoys video gaming, coloring, and crafting with resin. She is also a proud toy poodle lover and shares her home with eight toy poodles: Maleficent, Cakepop, Boba Fett, Spicy Valentina, Jewel, Dreamer, Tootsiepop, and S’mores.
Anaiss brings a fun personality, a caring heart, and a little extra spice to the Gregory Vet team.

Veterinary Technician
Karissa Bennett, CVT
Karissa Bennett is a Certified Veterinary Technician at Gregory Veterinary Clinic. She has 5 years of experience in veterinary medicine and has been with Gregory Vet for a little over a year.
After working with horses, Karissa made the transition into small animal medicine. She enjoys the technical side of veterinary care, especially cytology, hematology, lab equipment, radiology, dentistry, feline medicine, and critical cases.
Outside of the clinic, Karissa enjoys mountain biking, paddle boarding, hiking, reading, and gardening. She also has two dogs at home.

Paula Canellas, CVA
Paula Canellos, also known as PC or Peck, is a Certified Veterinary Assistant at Gregory Veterinary Clinic. She has been working in veterinary medicine for about 5–6 years and joined the Gregory Vet team 4 months ago.
Her love and passion for animals led her into the field, and her favorite part of the job is helping pets while seeing their owners happy. Paula has a special interest in surgery and ultrasound and enjoys continuing to learn and grow in veterinary medicine.
Outside of work, Paula enjoys reading, playing video games, and working out. She has three pets: Orion, her 5-year-old dog; Jack Sparrow, her 3-year-old one-eyed cat; and Fanty, her 16-year-old cat. She also speaks Spanish and brings a friendly, helpful energy to the clinic each day.

Nathalia Steffanetta, LVMT, CVT
Nathalia Steffanetta, has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for 18 years, with experience spanning both general practice and emergency/critical care. She has a genuine passion for patient care and takes pride in supporting both her patients and her team every day.
Originally from Tennessee, Nathalia spent a few years on the move before settling in Tampa in 2019. She joined Gregory in July 2024 and brings a natural curiosity, a positive attitude, and a strong drive to keep learning and growing in her field. She believes great veterinary medicine comes down to compassion, skill, and strong teamwork—and she’s always ready to bring a little humor into the mix to help everyone get through even the busiest days.
When she’s not at work, Nathalia enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband and friends. At home, she’s kept busy by her two dogs, Pickle and Slinky, and her cat, Keju.

Carolyn Carrera
Carolyn Carrera is one of Gregory Veterinary Clinic’s Client Service Representatives. She has been working in veterinary medicine for 7 years and has been part of the Gregory Vet team for nearly 3 years.
Having been surrounded by animals her entire life, Carolyn has always had a love for them and a passion for helping those most vulnerable. She enjoys seeing and interacting with the pets who come through the clinic doors, working with her team, and helping clients feel welcomed, understood, and recognized.
Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys crocheting for others, painting, video games, and board games. She shares her home with Charlie, her orange and white longhaired cat, and Momo and Appa, her Siamese mix littermates. She also loves dad jokes and brings warmth, kindness, and humor to the clinic each day.

Hollyann Barron
Hollyann has been a part of our team since December 2021. Her favorite part about working here is being surrounded by a supportive team.
She likes to volunteer at animal shelters. In her spare time, she likes to go hiking, camping, rock climbing, kayaking, and anything outdoors with her fur babies.

Callista Lambert
Callista Lambert, known around the clinic as Callie, is one of Gregory Veterinary Clinic’s Client Service Representatives. She has been working in veterinary medicine for 6 months, and her love for animals is what first drew her to the field.
Callie’s favorite parts of her job are seeing the pets who come through the clinic, helping pet owners, and supporting her team. She has many areas of interest within veterinary medicine and is excited to continue learning and growing in her role. Her goal is for every client and pet to feel happy, welcome, and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Outside of work, Callie enjoys making art, spending time in nature, and playing video games. She shares her life with Smokey, her 12-year-old Lab mix. A fun fact about Callie is that she has created her own animated characters, which fits perfectly with her creative personality.
Callie loves making people laugh and smile, and she brings that same cheerful energy to the clinic each day.

Idania "Dee" Albarran
Idania Albarran, also known as Dee or “Queen B,” is one of Gregory Veterinary Clinic’s Client Service Representatives. She has been working in veterinary medicine for 9 years and joined the Gregory Vet team 5 months ago.
Dee loves helping pets feel better when they can’t tell us what’s wrong, and her favorite part of the job is helping them feel safe. She hopes every client and pet feels loved, heard, and cared for.
Outside of work, Dee enjoys painting, spending time with Mother Nature, and hunting for shark teeth. She shares her life with Lucy, her Mini Aussie. Dee is also bilingual and brings a warm, fun energy to the clinic each day.

Rachel London is a Certified Veterinary Technician at Gregory Veterinary Clinic. She has been working in veterinary medicine for 4 years and joined the Gregory Vet team 3 months ago.
Rachel began her animal care career as a groomer before moving into veterinary medicine to focus more on patient care and medical support. She enjoys every part of her job and hopes clients and pets feel happy, comfortable, and heard when they work with her.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys the beach, reading, park walks, and traveling. She shares her home with Jackson, her English Lab, and Bucky, her tuxedo domestic shorthair cat.
