Please note that drop-off appointments may include an additional hospitalization/day stay fee, reflecting the extended care and supervision provided to your pet.

Eligibility for Technician Appointments:

  • Established Patients: To qualify for a technician appointment, your pet needs to be an established member of our practice. This means they must have undergone a veterinary examination at our clinic within the past year.

  • Vaccination Requirements: Your pet must also be current on their rabies vaccine to ensure the safety of both our staff and the other animals in the clinic.

Services Offered During Technician Appointments:

Our skilled veterinary technicians can perform a range of services during these appointments, including:

  • Anal gland expressions

  • Nail trims

  • Adequan injections (for joint health)

  • Cytopoint injections (for allergies)

  • ProHeart injections (for heartworm prevention)

  • Bordetella, DA2PP, Lepto, and Flu vaccines

  • Replacement of a Libre device (for glucose monitoring)

  • Specific bloodwork as previously recommended by a doctor

  • Heartworm tests

Please note that Rabies vaccines require a veterinarian and cannot be administered during technician appointments.

To accommodate your needs and manage refills effectively, we kindly ask for a 24-hour notice for all medication refills or written prescription requests. Here's how you can request a refill:

1. Via Our Dedicated Phone Line: For a traditional approach, please call our dedicated medication refill line. Upon calling, we ask that you leave a voicemail with the following details: your pet’s name, your last name, the medication name, the dose you're currently administering, and the dosing instructions. Our goal is to prepare your refill by the end of the same business day for calls received before noon, and by the next morning for calls received after noon.

2. Through the Automated Assistant on Our Website: For added convenience, we also offer the option to request medication refills through the automated assistant featured on our website. This digital helper is located in the lower right-hand corner of the screen, designed to facilitate a quick and easy refill request process.

Special Requests and Pre-Payment: Please note that for medications requiring special orders, or for clients who wish to have their pills pre-cut before pickup, we require pre-payment for the medications. 

By offering multiple ways to request medication refills, including the innovative option via our website’s automated assistant, we aim to streamline this process, ensuring your pet's medication regimen continues without interruption.
